Howdy and welcome to Poplar Penny! I'm Nicole and I invite you to tag along with me as I make my way through furniture makeovers, room remodels, crafts and all the wonderful things that make a house a home. I made the brave decision to take my passion for pretty things and home adventures to the blog world this year. I am a current college student at the University of Houston, Go Coogs! After graduation this May, I will be whisked away to the Turks & Caicos to marry the love of my life, Scott. However, the fun does not stop there! This September we will be welcoming a bundle of joy! So yes, expect to see plenty of baby projects :) Teehee! Together Scott and I live with our two adorable dogs, Bailey & Penny. We are huge animal lovers and you can bet they have us wrapped around those little paws. So roll up your sleeves, grab a paint brush and let's get into some trouble!
